邹燕勤教授认为成人多囊肾多因先天禀赋不足、后天脏腑阴阳失调所致,是以脾肾亏虚为本,水湿、痰浊、瘀血、肝阳为标的本虚标实证。治疗以补肾活血渗利为要;倡导分期论治、病证结合;主张中西医并重;临证中还应重视消除诱因,避免疾病加重因素。

Professor ZOU Yanqin holds that polycystic kidney in adults is mainly due to prenatal deficiency of endowment and postnatal imbalance of yin-yang and viscera,In this disease deficiency of spleen and kidney is the root,while water dampness,phlegm turbidity and blood stasis and liver yang are the branch,and it usually of deficient root and excessive branch. The treatment mainly involves invigorating the kidney,promoting blood circulation and promoting urination. He holds that the treatment should be based on different stage and the combination of disease and syndrome. He also advocate the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine.
